Maximizing Land Potential in Kansas City!
Our Principal Butch Dougherty and Architectural Associate Nathan Hale from B+A Architecture recently had a great evening presenting at a public engagement meeting with the local community at The Station at 28 Event Space.
We are proud to partner with our clients to help them unlock the true value of their properties! For this project located at 2922 Summit St., our team is leading the charge to rezone the site from an R-6 to an R-1.5 district.
Why does this matter? By helping our client navigate the city's zoning and development codes to achieve a higher density classification, we are maximizing the capacity of their land. Under the previous R-6 zoning, this 6,421 sq. ft. lot could not accommodate multiple units. With our strategic rezoning to R-1.5, the site will successfully support a beautiful, new 4-unit residential building!
At B+A Architecture, we specialize in helping developers and property owners secure the zoning changes they need to get the most out of their land while ensuring code compliance and compatibility with the surrounding neighborhood. For this project, we're even incorporating the existing concrete structure into the new design and providing 7 off-street parking spaces to minimize the impact on local streets!
Looking to maximize your property's capacity through strategic rezoning and thoughtful architectural design? We are here to help guide you from feasibility studies and conceptual planning all the way through community engagement and City approvals.
