Sharing a Success Story of Global Vietnamese Collaboration

B+A Architecture is proud to announce that our Managing Partner, Thong Thai, will be joining the panel discussion at the upcoming VBI Global Monthly Meeting, where business leaders from around the world will explore how meaningful connections can create real opportunities and lasting success.

One story that B+A Architecture is particularly excited to share is the successful completion of the Property Improvement Plan (PIP) renovation for the SpringHill Suites Hotel in Denton, Texas. The project demonstrates the power of collaboration within the global Vietnamese business community and demonstrates how strategic relationships can generate opportunities that extend far beyond a single project.

The renovation brought together professionals and business leaders across multiple countries and industries, including real estate investors, hospitality operators, architects, engineers, contractors, and manufacturers. Through trust, communication, and a shared commitment to excellence, the team successfully transformed a complex hotel renovation into a valuable outcome for both the ownership group and the Marriott brand.

As the architectural partner for the project, B+A Architecture led the design, permitting, and coordination efforts required to meet Marriott’s PIP standards. In addition to architectural services, the firm also supported Vietnamese furniture manufacturer DFURNI in taking an important step toward entering the U.S. hospitality market.

B+A Architecture played a key role in preparing and coordinating a comprehensive Furniture Qualification Package for submission to Marriott. The package included product specifications, quality standards, testing documentation, and compliance requirements to support the manufacturer’s approval process. This effort helped introduce high-quality Vietnamese-made furniture products to a major international hotel brand while creating new opportunities for the manufacturer to expand its presence in the U.S. hospitality industry.

This project serves as a strong example of the value created through the VBI Global network. What began as a hotel renovation evolved into a cross-border business opportunity, connecting a Vietnamese manufacturer, a U.S. hotel development project, and a global hospitality brand. It demonstrates how trust, collaboration, and strategic networking can create meaningful benefits for all parties involved.

More than a successful renovation, this project reflects the growing impact of Vietnamese professionals and entrepreneurs working together across international markets. By building strong relationships and leveraging global connections, new partnerships, business opportunities, and remarkable achievements become possible.

B+A Architecture extends its appreciation to VBI Global for creating a platform that brings together business leaders from around the world. We look forward to sharing insights from this journey and discussing how strategic networking can open doors to future growth and collaboration.

If you are a business owner, investor, developer, entrepreneur, manufacturer, or professional looking to expand your network and explore new opportunities with the global Vietnamese business community, we encourage you to join us at this event. You never know which conversation, introduction, or connection may become your next successful partnership, client, or market opportunity.
