Cultivating the Next Generation: The B+A Architecture Internship Program
At B+A Architecture, we believe in investing in the next generation of designers and leaders.
Our founder, Dennis Bradley, established an international internship program that welcomed young architects and graduate students from around the world to work in our Kansas City office. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of mentoring interns from countries such as India, Vietnam, Costa Rica, Iran, and across the United States - bringing diverse perspectives into our studio.
Today, we are expanding that vision by supporting our local community.
We’ve partnered with Park Hill High School and Liberty High School to offer internship opportunities for high school students who are interested in architecture and planning to pursue it in college. Our goal is simple: introduce architecture earlier, and make the path more accessible.
Last Fall 2025, we welcomed Resse Dutton, a senior from Park Hill School District. This Spring 2026, we had the pleasure of working with Jillian Ware from Liberty School District, who just presented her capstone project.
During her internship, Jillian explored real-world architectural workflows - conducting feasibility studies and developing her Autodesk Revit skills by designing a three-unit triplex based on actual zoning constraints and site conditions.
We’re especially grateful to our team member, Nathan Hale, for mentoring and guiding both interns through this experience.
At B+A Architecture, we are committed to continuing and growing this program - helping students discover architecture earlier, build real skills, and gain the confidence to design spaces that shape our communities and our world.
